The interior of the church is simple and quiet, and it feels peaceful and comfortable. There are flowers all around.

Castle in turaida. Turaida Castle is a recently reconstructed medieval castle in Turaida, in the Vidzeme region of Latvia, on the opposite bank of the Gauja River from Sigulda.

A stunning old castle turned into a vineyard with 23 hectares of vines. They offer tours of the grounds inclusive of a wine tasting and lunch. The lunch was great with all fresh local produce. The wines were amazing and the grounds are spectacular with the old castle visible too.

Château de Mille

A seafood restaurant by evening and a cafe by morning. We stopped for coffee in the morning and had a great spot on the veranda overlooking the river, watching the boats go by. The croissants don’t look much but they are delicious, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside!

L’Atelier Terre & Mer

This was probably the most impressive and beautiful market I’ve seen. The historic town centre has a lovely stream around the perimeter and the whole town has market stools within it every Sunday. It’s voted the best market in the Luberon region. Get there early as it gets busy!

L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue Market

This picturesque little town in Provence is a hidden gem. It has a beautiful running river through the heart of it which has this bluey/greeny look to it with the mountains in the background. Restaurants and cafes run riverside and offer great views during your meal. Insta heaven

Fontaine de Vaucluse

Known as the “Colorado of Provence” this old quarry has been made into a hiking tourist attar Tin with its impressive landscape and different rock formations from the surrounding area. There’s a short 30 minute walk or a 50 minute option. Best to go early in the summer as it hot!

Le Sentier des Ocres

A beautiful looking building surrounded by acres of lavender fields. You can smell the lavender from the car park and you can wonder the grounds for free. There’s a small entrance fee into the abbey but if you’re there for pictures of the outside then it’s free. Go early!

Abbaye Notre-Dame de Sénanque

Gordes is a beautiful town and has a great market every Tuesday between 0800-1200. Lots of antiques, food, clothes and other stalls to look around. I’d advise to go early as it gets busy and as the town sits on the top of a hill it gets very hot too. Definitely worth a visit.

Marche provençal et artisanal

This tiny little cobbled road can be easily missed in Gordes as it was accessible down some small steep stairs opposite a lovely bakery, but this road offers a panoramic view of the fields and valley below Gordes which is breathtaking. Beautiful buildings and a fantastic view.

This is where if you googled Gordes you’d find all the pictures had been taken from. This little parking spot has the best views of Gordes sitting on the hilltop and panoramic views of the land down below too. There’s not many spaces so if driving go early! Best viewpoint around.

The famous bridge in Avignon which looks like it’s been cut off half way over the river. A small entrance fee of €5 to visit with self guided audio tours available and the bridge has different parts of it to explore. Great to visit the major landmark of Avignon, worth a visit!

Pont Saint-Bénezet (Le Pont d'Avignon)

A botanical garden in the centre of Avignon city, which has great views all across the city from the famous bridge to the cathedral. Lovely art and sculptures scattered across the park to look at and a lovely cafe on the pond with a water feature in the very centre.

Rocher des Doms

A large square in the centre of the historic Avignon city. With Avignon Cathedral and the Pope’s Palace in clear view and tower over the square. Lots of nice restaurants and bars with outdoor spots to dine and enjoy the vibrancy. Lots of open space and a good spot to chill.

Beautiful beach, great for swimming as majority of the time the sea is completely flat. I would advise going earlier to ensure you have a good spot on the beach, as it’s on the bus route and very popular so tends to get busy. Linarakia Restaurant has great iced coffees.

Panormos Beach

They are the best restaurant on the island of Skopelos when it comes to fresh squid grilled.
Service is excellent as well. All the dishes were excellent!

Vrachos is an absolute gem of Skopelos. The view is unbeatable and the drinks are amazing. The family who owns the bar makes homemade lemonade and limoncello for the drinks everyday.

Location is absolutely the best in the old town! The service is fantastic and the cocktails and food are also excellent. Think that best time to visit it would be around sunset.
